About the 5K
The Cape Cod Run For Addiction is an event designed to raise awareness in the heroin/opiate addiction epidemic that is destroying families, communities and the lives of our friends and loved ones. Our hope is to bring incredible attention to the problem and open the eyes of those who try to ignore its truths. The money raised will go to further the awareness, empower the youth, and support those who need help right now.
For those runners who want to do a more traditional road race, the 5K event will kickoff the entire flag relay. The 5K will start and finish at the Bourne library @8AM Sept 26th. Registration fee is $20. There will be food, water, raffles, sponsor items, and more. The Bourne flag relay runners will leave from this location and head toward Sandwich as the 5K is finishing up.
